A bridge is a technical and artistic accomplishment; it emphasizes stability and enables access. While there are many photographs of bridges from typical vantage points that emphasizes the beauty of a span, bridge:ʅɐʇɹod goes beyond the appeal of geometric forms to serve as a metaphor of personal foundations and the passage from one period of our lives to another. For this project, I’ve selected bridges that I’ve traveled over many times in my adult life — physical manifestations of my own personal journey.
